Krystal Townsend

Founder & Director

 

Born and raised in Bancroft, Krystal is one of Two founding members of NHHHP. Krystal remains in the area where she lives with her two children and two fur-babies.

Krystal, a Registered Practical Nurse is no stranger to the needs of our community.

“Working in home care and the local hospital has provided me a larger picture of just how important it is for every member of our community to have access to food. Lack of basic necessities such as healthy food options causes a plethora of preventable diseases and illnesses.”

Krystal brings with her over 14 years of volunteer experience served within multiple organizations in the North Hastings and Quinte Regions. 

Michelle Card

My name is Michelle Card and I was born and raised in Bancroft. Being a resident of Bancroft my entire life it brings great satisfaction to be able to be a part of a great organization which gives 100% of its proceeds back to the community. 

Working within a Ministry that shows some very vulnerable individuals has brought to my attention that there are people from our very own community who require a little bit of extra help. Being able to supply them and their families with a Christmas meal means a great deal and makes my heart feel full. 

Aside from working I enjoy volunteering at my children's school, working a breakfast club and seeing the smiling faces after they get a great sandwich to start their days. I also love to hunt and fish with my partner Joel and my children, Carter and Cassidy.

Sara O’Connor

Hello Everyone! I’m Sara O’Connor born and raised in Bancroft, I love the outdoors and have been a part of the community my whole life either at work,helping at my kids schools and arena. Now that my kids are older I have more time to volunteer I believe this program has great value to everyone in the community. This is new opportunity for me and looking forward to learning and working with some great people.

Sherri Marcotte

Volunteering to help those less fortunate is in my blood. Growing up I remember my mom and dad always provided to another family during Christmas time. 

I came to Bancroft 24 years ago and have volunteered with many community organizations such as the Food Bank, Victims Services, NHCT and the warming centre.
